IVF

Research has shown the effectiveness of hypnosis to support IVF treatments.  Hypnosis helps relax women during the most stressful stages - in fact the use of hypnosis during embryo transfer doubles the IVF/ET outcome in terms of increased implantation and pregnancy rates.  In addition there is the benefit of change of attitude towards the treatment - reducing stress, relieving anxiety, sense of control - all of which helps to cope better with the procedures.

FERTILITY

There are things you can do to increase your fertility and help you to become pregnant.  Regardless of any couples situation, infertility can be highly emotional and stressful which is completely understandable.  Striving to have a baby can leave you feeling hopeless and out of control.  It can affect your relationship with your partner, friends and family.  Infertility can be a very upsetting experience and research has shown the stress affects the hormonal system which can result in decreased fertility - it changes the body's biochemistry and rhythms. 

Hypnotherapy can help with decreasing the effects of infertility, and it can also work to help increase fertility. 

By increasing relaxation, removing unhelpful or negative thoughts and feelings, addressing any unconscious resistance to conception and any ambiguity towards parenthood increases the chance of pregnancy.
